Despite its nature, Kogasu is able to use the technique in a defensive manner by swallowing attacks, and in an offensive manner by redirecting attacks. When used by Kogasu to move from one area to another, his body is surrounded in intense flames before he appears within his destination. The speed of the technique itself is quite fast, and silent, allowing him to catch targets off guard. Kogasu is noted to being able to produce maximum of twelve Taiyokokuten at once at decent chakra cost, though years of training and refinement as increased this number to twenty while its chakra consumption has dropped significantly.
