The Utsugan (討つ眼, Avenge Eye) is the unique Dojutsu of the Hyouden clan. The Utsugan was created solely on the Hyouden clan members avenging goal towards the Senju clan. The Utsugan's main ability is the bending of chakra expelled from other sources. This lets them mold, mess with and control the chakra of people in their eye sight. A standard talent amongst Hyouden clan members is draining the chakra from an elemental type jutsu, leaving an unstable element in the wielders control (ie. If Kakashi charged a Hyouden clan member with Lightning Blade, they could drain the chakra and leave an unstable charge of lightning in Kakashi's grasp). Despite the years of training, the use of the Utsugan strains the user, especially on powerful techniques.
