Orinn Tathis was an Alderaanian politician. During the early years of the Galactic Empire, Tathis served on the Council of Elders. Offworld when the first Death Star destroyed his homeworld, Tathis, as the only surviving member of the Council, returned to the Graveyard to recover the remote capable of recalling the roving armory ship Another Chance.
