ATR presents the award to U.S. Representatives and Senators who receive a score of higher than 85 percent on the organization’s 24 key votes last year. Key votes included: Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act, Tax Relief Extension Reconciliation Act, Personal Responsibility in Food Consumption Act, and Gasoline for Americas Security Act. Congressman Murphy’s 92 percent represented the second highest score in the Pennsylvania delegation.
