The McIntosh System was a star system of the Solarian League, about 50 light-years south of the Meyers System, a part of the Madras Sector. The Solarian League Navy's Task Force 496 was in the system for Operation Winter Forage in 1921 PD, and then moved to the Meyers System. (SI2) When the Star Empire of Manticore invaded the Meyers System to topple the Solarian League's control over the Madras Sector in 1922 PD, Vice Commissioner Junyan Hongbo tried to escape to McIntosh aboard a freighter, but was intercepted by a Royal Manticoran Navy force under Rear Admiral Oversteegen.
