Gefnul also known as the Earth Ash ,Gonhel or Ondohellë was a blue-white lichen native to volcanic areas of everlasting cold, found most frequently growing on glacier-scarred granite. It contained a powerful and potentially addictive stimulant. When properly gathered and cleaned, gefnul was marginally edible; a half-ounce dose healed concussion hits.
