Sean Anthony Banks (born January 20 1985, in New York, New York) is an American professional Basketball player formerly of the NBA Development League's Tulsa 66ers. Banks is a 6'8" forward who played AAU basketball for the Tim Thomas Playaz. He attended the University of Memphis, where he was named the Conference USA Freshman of the Year in 2004 after leading his team in scoring. He left Memphis as a Sophomore after becoming academically ineligible. Banks grew up in Englewood, New Jersey. He is a graduate of Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey.
