Jeremiah Tortoise is the judge for the festival. He judges it every year, but is not very strict in his criteria. In fact, it's not a competition as such, as everyone wins. The festival encompasses many forms of stories, from songs to biographical tales. It's a major cultural event, drawing pretty much every inhabitant in the valley.
