Lord Vorsmythe (no first name given) was a major Barrayaran industrialist. He was sufficiently important within the Vorsmythe family that he wore the family livery. At the start of Mark Vorkosigan's financial carrier, he sought Lord Vorsmythe out with the intention of getting investment advice and doing work with him. Eventually Lord Vorsmythe became a financial backer in MPVK Enterprises.
