Loragg was commander of the Black Circle Crime Syndicate, that after the family and members of the group, were killed by Amon Sur, he became his aidviser and hired several mercenaries to kill Hal Jordan. Following Amon Sur's unsuccessful attempt to seize Hal Jordan's ring, Loragg was accidentally incinerated by a Qwardian Power Ring, that had come to induct Amon into the Sinestro Corps.
