CC-9223, nicknamed Tav, was a Clone Battalion Commander serving in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Placed in command of the 293rd Storm Battalion, Tav also leads his troops alongside Sergeant-Major Vultch, his closest friend. Tav showed a talent for being a quick observer, as well as successfully co-coordinating tactics and strategies during his time as an officer. In 22 BBY, Tav and Vultch, along with the battalion, accompanied Jedi Generals Kyle Redbreak and Echuu-Shen Jon, along with his Padawan, Naat Reath to the fiery world of Sarapin, where the Confederacy had wrestled control. After the battle, the 293rd Battalion remained on Sarapin for the rest of the war, defending the volcanic world, along with several other Clone garrisons.
