Ultraviolet bullets are a unique form of ammunition designed by Doc Savage. They may be fired from the Fabulous Five's standard supermachine pistols. Once they make contact with their target they will burst much life a paintball, spattering an ultraviolet substance. To detect this substance Doc also developed a pair of light sensitive glasses known as fluoroscopic glasses. It is known that Long Tom carries a pair of these glasses in the occasion their needed. They are very similer in design to the Light-spot Cartirdges, though they differ in the fact the light spot cartirdges produce a visible light.
