When Areltsi declared war on the Nulvarl Empire, Trivas knew that keeping the a base on Sterex hidden would be the perfect fall back point in case the Areltsi Coalition won the war. He commissioned a hidden base deep in the mountains and kept its location secret to all but his most trusted Chiss officers. Neither Jorell nor the Sterexi authorities knew of its existence. The result was known as Pinnacle Base due to its high altitude location among the mountains. Pinnacle Base was rebuilt, but now has a Sterexi garrison instead of a Chiss one.
