The character is based on the character Morris Fudley from the original Police Quest 1. This character appears as both Morris Fudley and Fudley Morris. The Lytton Police Computer and his answering machine lists the character as Fudley Morris, he is called Morris Fudley when talking to him or looking at him in the shower. These are intended to be the same character but for some reason he is listed under two seperate names. It is unclear which name the designers of the remake intended for the character.
