Houi was a village in the eastern part of the Naishou province, whose people were descended from the Takanobu tribe. It set in a geographically uneven area where the ground was shaped in large ridges and trees growed widely. There was no inn or teahouse, although there were a few craftsmen's shops. In the late 12th century the village suffered three disappearances, including a teenage giral named Natsuko, all kidnapped by a Bloodspeaker cell.
