A brutal duel between Abraham Thorn and Diana Grimm occurred near the site of the Thorn family crypt on Croatoa during the Summer of 2010. The skirmish was witnessed by Thorn's daughters, Julia and Alexandra, as well as many of the Thorn family ghosts. The duel was initiated when Grimm ambushed Thorn at the crypt while Thorn conferred with his daughters, and nearly ended with Grimm's death when Thorn cast an Entombment Curse on her. Grimm survived when Alex persuaded her father to release the Special Inquisitor, and Grimm owed Quick a life-debt as a result.
