The Archaeological Research Council was a committee of archaeologist based on Kallidah, the homeworld of the Kallidahin species. The council settled a research base in Polis Massa, an asteroid field that was created when a cataclysm destroyed the planet of the same name, to study the mysteries behind its destruction, and after generations of working on the project, the Kallidahin came to be mistakenly known as Polis Massans.
