In July 2008, Mumbletopia was founded by Otis Smith, who became a member of the Basketball Ninjas. Otis Smith is the current Strength and Conditioning Coach of the Basketball Ninjas. In May 2009, Otis Smith and the rest of the Basketball Ninjas front office founded the BN Academy.
