The UNSC Repulse was a guided missile frigate (FFG) of the UNSC Navy. It was the first UNSC warship to be destroyed by a Slipspace navigations error; it was one of the composite vessels of Admiral Preston Cole's attack fleet that was dispatched to Harvest, and during the opening milliseconds of the Battle of Harvest, would close its ill Slipspace transition into the atmosphere of the planet Harvest, emerging from Slipspace into an uncontrolled and fatal dive into Harvest's surface, marking the first UNSC casualties of the prolonged engagement.
