IAC Applications (formerly Mindspark) is well known for their internet malware, such as MyWebSearch, and EverydayLookup. Some of their hijackers replace the homepage with Ask (originally Ask Jeeves), due to the fact that they purchased Ask in 2006, though is safe to use, and it's even the fourth largest internet search engine. However, the Ask homepages might be tainted with malware, and advertisements.
