The role of chaplain of the first company of the Twelvers is reserved to the eldest of the brothers of the chapel. The role is focussed on the elaborate ceremonial demands of the chapel, which encompasses millenia of ritual accretions to form a complex web of devotions that cover every aspect of daily life in the chapterhouse. Priam is the Eldest of the chapter, having served for over a millenia, surviving four Legates, riding out the years of enervation to see his brothers rise to glory again.
