Gaur Plain makes an appearance in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U as a stage, appearing in both the Wii U and 3DS versions. In the Wii U version, Metal Face appears as the stage boss and is slightly larger than in Xenoblade Chronicles. Mechonis can be seen in the background. Despite being billed as Gaur Plain, the actual location in is near the Bionis' knee, but the area in which the characters fight in appears to be closer to the center of the Bionis' Leg. However, similar to the chosen music name, this can be dismissed as the developers alternatively calling the Bionis' Leg as Gaur Plain, due to Gaur Plain being the largest area on the Bionis' Leg.
