On April 13, 1986, Marty McFly went to Shanerburger, as his girlfriend, Jennifer Parker, worked there as a waitress. He told her about his concerns that his memories didn't match up with those of the then-current timeline. While talking to her, he realized his memories of the day Jennifer and Marty met didn't even match. Jennifer was worried that Marty was becoming depressed again, but Marty assured her that he wasn't not depressed, just confused.
