He is sent to steal the power from the Power Rangers. He is able to create illusions that the Rangers must overcome. They defeated him with the Thunderstorm Cannon. Madtropolis is nearly able to destroy the Rangers, until the new Green Samurai Ranger appears. The Green Ranger pilots the Samurai Star to destroy Madtropolis.
