Seung-Hui Cho was the perpetrator of the "Virginia Tech massacre", which is currently the second-deadliest massacre at an educational facility (behind the Bath School bombing of 1927) and the second-deadliest shooting committed by a lone gunman in U.S. history, on- or off-campus (behind the Orlando nightclub shooting of 2016).
