Oidwa, a Tsalmoth, was a sorceror prior to the Interregnum. During the last year of the Interregnum, she became involved in the construction of Castle Black and the formation of the army of Morrolan e'Drien, the Duke of Southmoor. When Morrolan learned that the Orb had possibly returned, he asked Oidwa to start a fire using sorcery. At first, she demurred, thinking that she lacked the ability due to the Orb's absence. Once she realized the Orb had returned, she started a fire while still in a state of stunned silence.
