The Jerusalem Accords were a series of agreements reached in 1988 partly by the Zion Free State and Kingdom of Syria, with support by the United States, French Empire and Turkey to make Jerusalem a neutral, independent state under the jurisdiction of the League of Nations. The agreement was championed by President Elizabeth Shannon of the United States and Turkish Grand Vizier Pasha Ali, who were close allies of Syria, as a method to end the conflict amicably, instead of the French plan, which backed the Zionist plan to divide Jerusalem in two between the ZFS and Syria.
