Anica Jon was the Iridonian mother of Mig Harlen. She was born on Iridonia and was betrothed to marry the wealthy Rain Harlen who fathered their only child out of wedlock. After their son was born, Rain was disgraced by his family and fled. Anica returned to her very supportive family after Mig’s birth only to die a few years later in search of her retreated lover. Her son was abandoned and left to be picked up and raised by a passing trader, Yosaff.
