Devesh Bhasin was an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper that served with Dutch and Buck. In Dutch's final interview for the boarding of a Covenant Carrier, Dutch mentioned him as a possible replacement for The Rookie. After this Buck notified Dutch that Bhasin had died.
