Chickaloo Tree Nut is an item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is a curative item that restore Link's health by refilling a quarter of a Heart Container. They can added to certain Elixir recipes to give the Elixir a healing effect or used at the Kochi Dye Shop to create a Crimson dye. They can also be used to make Sautéed Nuts by Cooking them alone or with Acorns. Additionally they can be used to make Nutcakes. Link can also roast them with fire or in volcanic temperatures of Death Mountain to make Roasted Tree Nuts. Though their description implies they add a Spicy effect to food dishes, they are actually neutral ingredients that do not add any special effects (presumably the spice mentioned in their description simply refers to their flavor or their use in adding healing
