The Neocene Era is a geological period in history after the Anthropocene Era. The Neocene is known to have begun in the 21st century, making the Anthropocene Era the shortest era, lasting around 200 years or so. The Neocene Era also brought new life forms, evolved from organisms from the Anthropocene and Holocene Eras.
