The Brede is a stream in Atlantis, near New Hastings. It was named by the Radcliffe family in honour of a stream in Hastings, England. After some years in Atlantis, Richard Radcliffe resolved to take his wife and children, and wander up the Brede into the interior of Atlantis. Eventually, they established Bredestown.
