Tarth Vames was a docking pad chief on the planet Dathomir in 43.5 ABY. He attempted to prevent Luke and Ben Skywalker from landing due to terms of his exile from the Jedi Order. Later, when Han and Leia Solo came looking for Luke and Ben, they enlisted Vames' help in tracking them down, as well as securing guides and supplies for the journey. Solo often referred to him as 'Darth Vames' much to his annoyance.
