In at least one iteration of the mirror universe, the Battle of Wolf 359 was a large-scale, military conflict which found the last defenses of the Terran Empire compromised, leaving the Imperial Starfleet and Earth vulnerable to the combined force of the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. This battle shares a name with the counterpart universe's Battle of Wolf 359, despite the fact that the mirror battle occurred decades earlier and had a far greater death toll.
