Taryai Akagarti was the son of Emoch Akagarti and his wife. In 0 ABY, he was present when members of the remnant Partisan cell called the Dreamers broke into his family's home on Affadar to find evidence of his father's corruption. Taryai was held hostage with his mother and his sister when the Dreamer's took Emoch to the Affadar water purification plant. When the Dreamer's tricked Emoch into believing they were forcing Taryai to drink some of the water provided by the plant, he admitted it was unsafe for consumption.
