The Grumpy Old Troll (sometimes called Mr. Troll) is a troll, who lives under a bridge that Dora and Boots sometimes come across. When someone tries to cross his bridge, he will jump out and sing a song telling the person that they need to answer a riddle or else they will not be allowed across. but never cause trouble together.
