In an alternate timeline, the Interstellar Coalition Vessel Vanik was a starship in service to the Interstellar Coalition in the mid 23rd century. As of 2264, it was commanded by Captain T'Prynn of Vulcan. Early that year, in a tragic accident, the Vanik destroyed the United Earth transport Galileo, killing all seven aboard.
