The Deseret Calender is the name of the Deserets way of keeping the time and date in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door 2. Deseret Time is out-of-sync with Earth Time, as their are different dates for the beginnings (example: Earth Year 2007 A.D. would only be Deseret Year 1). Their method of keeping wristwatch time is also different: instead of time-of-day use as on Earth, they use the Sun to determine the time, so it is either "Time of the Shadows", as nighttime is referred to, or "Time of Light", as day is reffered to. They do, however, have specific days for certain activities, such as planting, harvesting, water collecting, etc. A system of "hour" is also implied; this time using the Shadows to determine the time (Example: High Shadow Time is Noon, as the Sun is directly overhead).
