There have been two known attempts to make a Thor animated series, neither of which came to fruition. Little is known about the first attempt. Jack Kirby made a presentation piece of artwork that was inked by Alfredo Alcala. Ruby-Spears Productions, most known for Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, was going to produce. File:Thor 80s Series Concept.jpg The unfinished artwork shows what is most likely the Midgard Serpent attacking an Asian city. There are two hand-written notes. The first says "Do not color sky". The other "Get Jack to put Thor in" and points a circle in the eyeline of the creature.
