Acme Industries was a company based in New Brentford on Earth. They manufactured the Disinfectodroids, which teleported garbage to another planet against the wishes of the inhabitants. The Tenth Doctor reprogrammed the robots to send the garbage back to the company's headquarters in the hope that it would change their corporate policy.
