The Starfleet Command Intelligence Database was a database created for Starfleet Command and used by them in the late 23rd century. In 2293, material from this database were used for a command briefing presentation with the President of the United Federation of Planets wherein officials with Starfleet Command proposed a mission, code named Operation Retrieve, which would entail the rescue of Captain James T. Kirk and Chief Medical Officer Leonard McCoy from the Klingons. These materials included a star chart of an area of space, known as the theatre of operations, in the Beta Quadrant, a map of Beta Penthe's system, and a planetary surface file of Rura Penthe.
