Pumpkaboo lived with other Phantump, Pumpkaboo, one Gourgeist and one Trevenant. When Jon, Maria and Kyle went near his shrine, him along with the other Pumpkaboo and Phantump began to attack them, after thinking they had stolen a piece of it. After the misunderstanding was cleared up, they all began the search for the missing piece and found out the Pangoro had it. The Pangoro attack Pumpkaboo, with Kyle saving Pumpkaboo, which led to Pumpkaboo wanting to join Kyle. Pumpkaboo is a large size Pumpkaboo. During the evolution festival, Pumpkaboo evolved into Gourgeist.
