Shinobi is a boss fought in Final Fantasy III, under the waterfall at Falgabard. Upon defeat, he bestows the Kiku-Ichimonji katana upon the party. In the Crystal Tower, however, Shinobi are common enemies that usually attack in pairs. They are no threat when fought in the Crystal Tower, though it can be a relatively difficult enemy to defeat if the party is not prepared for him at Falgabard and is under level 30.
