The Public Theater is a theater based in New York City that hosts a variety of shows, including Shakespeare in the Park productions. The cast of Sesame Street appeared in the theater's adaptation of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, from September 5-7, 2014 in Central Park. Characters included Elmo (Ryan Dillon), Cookie Monster (David Rudman), Abby Cadabby (Leslie Carrara-Rudolph), Grover (Eric Jacobson), Big Bird (Peter Linz), a cookie (Stephanie D'Abruzzo) and a monster (Tyler Bunch).
