According to a Starfleet Academy simulation scenario, Reynolds was an agent of Starfleet Intelligence and Captain of a light cruiser. During the hypothetical a Federation-Gorn war, she discovered that the Gorn are planning to use biological weapons on Sherman's Planet, Her ship was stationed in Koreb waiting for a Constitution-class contact, but in the meantime was attacked by a Gorn Cruiser.
