The Strykes were a force on Agrovan Seven who were at war with the Marats. They could be identified by their thin mouths, human-like eyes, broader faces and blue armour. The Stryke had been at war with the Marat for fifteen hundred years and were evenly matched. Finally, a Time Lord smuggled a bioweapon virus to the Strykes, allowing them the upper hand. When the Seventh Doctor and Ace came to the planet, they encountered a Stryke force. They were captured and brought to the Stryke headquarters. They believed the Doctor was the Time Lord who had brought them the bioweapon and had brought them more weapons. When the Marat began an air strike, the Doctor and Ace escaped and got to the Marat.
