The 1969 World 600 was a Grand National (now Sprint Cup) event held at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 25, 1969. LeeRoy Yarborough won his second straight start in dominating fashion, leading 274 of the 400 laps and holding off Donnie Allison by two laps for the victory.
