Yavannamírë was one of the seven Fragrant Evergreen trees brought to Númenor by the Eldar of Tol Eressëa as gifts of enrichment. It like the others grew in the Númenórean province of Nísimaldar. It was noted for the globed and scarlet fruits that it produced and like the others its flowers and leaves gave off sweet scents. Because it was never cultivated in Middle-earth, it was destroyed during the Fall of Númenor but may have been remembered in song and story.
