The Lurker Scorpion is a tan-colored, large scorpion, and an enemy in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy VII. It's a determined hunter- when it sets it sights on prey, it hardly ever gives up the chase. It attacks by slashing with its large claws and striking with its barbed tail. After striking with the tail, it needs to dislodge it from the ground to attack again, so that's your chance to attack. It only takes a couple of hits, so it's not that hard to bring down.
