Thorne coordinated some of his criminal enterprises from his office building. It served as a meeting place for Bane and Thorne in their goal to eliminate Batman. In one of the rooms, Thorne's secretary Candice encouraged Bane to overthrow her boss and take over his empire once Batman was out of the way. However, Batman defeated Bane and took him back to Thorne's office. He also made Thorne aware of Candice and Bane's plot to get rid of him.
